Widely considered one of the most accomplished combat sport athletes, Lesnar is the only individual to have won the major heavyweight championships in WWE, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Inoki Genome Federation (IGF), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Lesnar’s wrestling career began at the University of Minnesota, where he won the NCAA Division I national championship in 2000. He then signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), later renamed WWE, in 2002. At just 25 years old, he became the youngest WWE Champion in history.

Brock Edward Lesnar was born on July 12, 1977, in Webster, South Dakota, to parents Stephanie and Richard Lesnar. Despite his Slovenian surname, Brock is of German descent and was raised on his family’s dairy farm in Webster. He has two older brothers, Troy and Chad, and a younger sister named Brandi. At 17, Lesnar joined the Army National Guard but was assigned to an office job due to his red-green colorblindness, which made working with explosives unsafe. He was discharged after failing a computer typing test and then worked for a construction company.
