Torrie Wilson Biography: Torrie Anne Wilson born July 24, 1975 is an American model, former fitness competitor, and retired professional wrestler, best known for her time in WWE and WCW. As a fitness competitor, Wilson won the Miss Galaxy competition in 1999. Shortly after, she signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where she remained from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, she made her debut on World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television as part of The Invasion storyline, which involved WCW’s takeover of the then-WWF. Her most prominent storylines occurred in 2002, feuding with Dawn Marie, and in 2003 against Sable. Wilson was also a member of the all-female group Vince’s Devils, which lasted until 2006.

Early Life
Born in Boise, Idaho, Wilson describes herself as painfully shy during her childhood. She found her place in school through activities such as cheerleading, dance, and track and field. During her sophomore year of high school, Wilson’s growing interest in modeling was encouraged by her mother. After visiting an agency, she was told she needed to lose weight to be considered for work. This led to a battle with anorexia nervosa and bulimia, which lasted from about age 15 to 19.
After recovering, Wilson shifted her focus to fitness, adopting a regimen of six meals a day and regular workouts. She placed third in her first fitness competition and later won the Miss Galaxy title in 1998. She also competed with the Extreme Fitness Team and won first place in the Grace and Physique round at the 1998 Women’s Tri-Fitness Championships.
