Early life and training
Within the Mangalorean Catholic household of Javier and Teresa Lewis, Terence Lewis grew up in Bombay. Sixth out of eight siblings is Lewis. In Mumbai, he attended St. Xavier’s College and St. Theresa’s Boys High School where he began dancing. Previously known as Dadar Catering College, he received his degree from IHM Mumbai. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance in New York are the places where he received his jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance training.
Terence Lewis has choreographed for a number of Bollywood films.
