The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, prompting staff to call for an ambulance as they became concerned about the 47-year-old star. He was taken from Sunningdale, Berkshire, to Frimley Park Hospital for a precautionary check-up by paramedics. A spokesperson for Stephen shared with OK! magazine that the past few weeks have been particularly challenging for him. He is grieving the recent loss of his beloved father, which has understandably been very stressful for him.

Mulhern was born on 4 April 1977 in Stratford, East London. He comes from a family of market traders and attended St Bonaventure’s School in Forest Gate, East London.
Career
Mulhern’s interest in magic and comedy began at the age of 11, when his father taught him magic tricks. The family regularly visited Butlin’s Minehead in Somerset, where Mulhern began performing for the public. He eventually became the youngest member of The Magic Circle, which led to an appearance on Blue Peter in a segment about Harry Houdini. However, Mulhern was temporarily suspended from The Magic Circle for revealing a magic trick on the children’s show Finger Tips, although the suspension was later lifted. After leaving school, Mulhern created a magic show called Stephen’s Mega Mad Magic Show. At 18, he was rejected by Michael Barrymore for My Kind of People, but went on to win the television talent competition The Big Big Talent Show hosted by Jonathan Ross. This success earned him a spot at the 1997 Royal Variety Performance at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
