Sita Murmu, also known as Sita Soren, is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and serves as a member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly representing the Jama constituency. She is the daughter-in-law of JMM leader Shibu Soren and the widow of the late Durga Soren. In 2012, she faced allegations of receiving money for votes during the Rajya Sabha election, which resulted in her spending seven months in jail; she has since been released on bail.

On March 19, 2025, she resigned from all positions within the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, with Vinod Tawde and Vishal Singh present during her switch.
