Shaedon Sharpe born May 30, 2003 is a Canadian professional basketball player currently playing for the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). A highly sought-after five-star recruit out of high school, Sharpe committed to play college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats but ultimately did not compete in any college games before declaring for the NBA Draft. He was selected seventh overall in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Sharpe began his basketball journey at H. B. Beal Secondary School in his hometown of London, Ontario, where he led his team to an appearance in the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) AAA championships. He later moved to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas, where his production was limited as a sophomore. For his junior year, Sharpe transferred to Dream City Christian School in Glendale, Arizona, where he took on a more prominent role. He averaged 21.4 points and 6 rebounds per game while playing in the Grind Session. Additionally, Sharpe competed for UPLAY Canada in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) circuit, where he was mentored by former NBA player Dwayne Washington.
