He is considered by many to be among the best batsmen in cricket history. Sachin Tendulkar Biography
Born on April 24, 1973 in Bombay, Maharashtra, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is a former cricket player from India. One of the top batsmen in the world, in his opinion, is him. He bowls both leg breaks and off-breaks as a part-time player. Although he could bat in the middle order, Sachin was mostly a right-handed opener. In terms of both Test and ODI cricket, he is the record holder for the highest run total. His double century in the white ball game made him the first batter to achieve that feat. Even at 5 feet 5 inches, he had the same amount of height as a towering Mohinder Amarnath when it came to hooking the ball.

Early life And background
Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973, to a Maharastrian family at the Nirmal Nursing Home in Dadar, Bombay. His mother, Rajni, was employed in the insurance sector, while his father, Ramesh Tendulkar, was a poet and novelist in Marathi. Tendulkar was named after Sachin Dev Burman, the music director that Tendulkar’s father admired. Tendulkar has three older siblings: Savita, his half-sister, and Nitin and Ajit, his half-brother. These were the children of his father’s first wife, who passed away following the delivery of her third child. Ajit, his brother, participated in the Kanga Cricket League in Bombay.
Tendulkar grew up in Bandra (East) at the Sahitya Sahawas Cooperative Housing Society. Tendulkar was regarded as a bully when he was younger and would frequently start fights with new students at his school.
Early career
Tendulkar was chosen, at the age of 14, to play for Bombay in the 1987–88 Ranji Trophy. Despite this, he was frequently deployed as a substitute fielder and did not make it into the starting eleven in any of the matches. Tendulkar made his debut for Bombay against Gujarat at Wankhede Stadium on December 11, 1988, one year later, at the age of fifteen years and thirty-two days. He hit a century without conceding an out in the game, becoming the youngest Indian player to do so in first-class cricket history. Bombay captain Dilip Vengsarkar chose him to play for the squad after seeing him play Kapil Dev on the cricket practice nets at Wankhede Stadium, when the Indian team was there to play the visiting.
Career
Tendulkar was picked for the Indian tour of Pakistan in late 1989 following just one season of first class cricket, with Raj Singh Dungarpur taking the credit. While the Indian selection committee had expressed interest in picking Tendulkar for the West Indies tour earlier that year, they ultimately decided against it because they did not want him to be exposed to the region’s elite fast bowlers at such an early stage of his career.
At the age of sixteen years and 205 days, Tendulkar made his Test debut for India, the youngest player to do so. At sixteen years and two38 days, he made his ODI debut, his youngest ever. In an over against Pakistan, Tendulkar made his Test debut.
