Early life
On November 5, 1988, Dhanjani was born in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. His Sindhi family relocated to Dubai not long after he was born. Heena Dhanjani is the name of his younger sister. He attended school in Dubai and graduated from London’s City of London College. He enjoyed performing, modeling, and hosting performances during his time in college. Subsequently, Dhanjani spent up to two and a half years participating in theater. In order to pursue his acting career, he moved to Mumbai after performing in theater and at events in Dubai. After that, he completed an acting program at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute before starting a career in television.
Career
In 2009, Rithvik debuted as an actor in Bandini, playing the villainous role of Parth. He appeared in two supporting roles in Tere Liye (2009–2010) as Partho Rawal and Bairi Piya (2009–2010) as Prithvi Pundir. portrayed Sukirti Kandpal’s character in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani from 2010 to 2011, as the antagonist Jay Khurana, a werewolf in love. He made his acting debut in Jo Hum Chahein (2011) as Akash. The movie was a box office failure, receiving mostly negative reviews. Additionally, he starred in the short film Aftermath as Ali. As a wild card entry, Rithvik participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in June 2012 and placed second runner-up. A turning point in Rithvik’s career was his portrayal of Arjun Digvijay Kirloskar in Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta, which starred Asha Negi. He performed in the part from 2011 to 2014.
