Miranda Leigh Lambert, born November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas, is a renowned American country singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She launched her career in 2001 with her self-titled debut album, which she released independently. In 2003, she gained national attention by finishing third on the USA Network’s singing competition, Nashville Star. Apart from her solo career, Lambert is also a member of the country trio Pistol Annies, which she formed in 2011 with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.
