Michael Lynn Evans III born August 21, 1993 is an American professional football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies, earning consensus All-American honors in 2013 after setting a school record with 1,394 receiving yards on 69 receptions. Evans was selected by the Buccaneers in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft with the seventh overall pick.

Evans grew up in Galveston, Texas, where he attended Ball High School. He participated in basketball, football, and track for the Tors athletic teams. In basketball, Evans averaged 18.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists as a senior. He only played football during his senior year, which led to limited college recruitment. Despite this, he earned second-team District 24-4A honors after recording 25 receptions for 648 yards and seven touchdowns in his senior season.
In track & field, Evans excelled in the jumping events, achieving personal-best marks of 14.11 meters in the triple jump and 6.28 meters in the long jump. He also clocked a 4.54 in the 40-yard dash during a football camp and was part of the 4 × 100m and 4 × 200m relay teams. Ultimately, Evans was recruited by Texas A&M to play wide receiver and committed to the Aggies.
