Michelle Beadle Early Life
Beadle was born in Italy to Bob Beadle, a former executive at Valero Energy, and Serenella Paladino, an Italian native. She spent her early childhood in Roanoke, Texas, near Dallas, before moving to Boerne, a small town outside San Antonio, where she grew up. Beadle has mentioned that her mother, who did not speak English when they immigrated to the U.S., became her best friend as they navigated learning the language together. As a child, she was a self-proclaimed tomboy and primarily associated with male friends. She graduated from Boerne High School.
Beadle initially attended the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in political science with the intention of pursuing a law degree. However, after working in a law group and gaining experience at the Texas state capitol, she realized law was not her calling. After three years, she took a break from academics and spent time working in Canada before returning to Austin to wait tables while figuring out her next steps. She eventually transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she completed her degree.
