He returned as a starter in 2022 and was named the MVP of the 2023 Citrus Bowl after catching nine passes for 163 yards and throwing a touchdown pass to quarterback Jayden Daniels. On September 16, 2023, Nabers had an impressive performance with 13 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Mississippi State.
