Krunal Himanshu Pandya born on 24 March 1991, is an Indian cricketer who has represented the Indian national team. He previously led the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League and currently plays for Baroda in domestic cricket. A left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler, he made his international debut for India in November 2018. In 2021, he achieved the record for the fastest half-century by a cricketer on ODI debut. He is the older sibling of cricketer Hardik Pandya.

Career
Domestic Career
In 1997-98, Krunal Pandya’s father relocated from Surat to Vadodara to provide him with enhanced cricket facilities after recognizing his potential at the age of 6. Pandya then joined Kiran More’s Cricket Academy.
However, complications arose when his father’s health deteriorated. Facing financial strain, Pandya participated in local tournaments in nearby villages, earning approximately Rs. 500 per game. Over time, he progressed in age-group cricket, eventually making his debut in domestic T20 cricket for Baroda against Bengal in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in March 2013. His List A career began with a quick 28 runs off 20 balls against Gujarat in the Vijay Hazare Trophy West Zone match in November 2014. It took two years before Pandya had a successful first-class debut in a Ranji Trophy Group A match against Gujarat in October 2016, where he scored 23 runs and took two wickets in 17 overs.
Krunal made his debut for India ‘A’ in a Tri-nations ODI tournament in Pretoria in July 2017. He started with a duck and no wickets against South Africa ‘A’, but bounced back in the third match with an impressive performance against Afghanistan.
