He played college football for the Boise State Broncos, where he set the FBS record for quarterback wins. Moore spent the majority of his professional career from 2012 to 2017 as a backup, making a brief appearance with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. After retiring as a player, Moore transitioned to coaching and was appointed as the Eagles’ offensive coordinator in 2024.

During his high school career, he threw for over 4,600 yards and 67 touchdowns in his junior year, and his senior year saw him lead his team to a 12–1 record.
