Jamie Overton, born on April 10, 1994, is an English cricketer who currently plays for Surrey County Cricket Club. He is a right-arm fast bowler and also bats right-handed. Overton made his debut for Somerset in the 2012 Clydesdale Bank 40 against Surrey and went on to make his international debut for the England cricket team in June 2022. Notably, his twin brother, Craig Overton, plays for Somerset as well. Overton first gained recognition during the 2012 U-19 World Cup, where he delivered a formidable performance against Australia in the opening match, reaching speeds close to 93 mph (150 km/h) and taking two key wickets, both caught by his brother.
