Tripathi began her work as an anchor on Bhopal’s All India Radio. In 2003, she competed in Pantene Zee Teen Queen and took home the Miss Beautiful Skin title. Tripathi competed in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004 and placed eighth overall from the Bhopal zone. She ran from the Indore zone once more, this time finishing in second place. She was guaranteed a spot in the second round of the competition, which she ultimately lost.[8] She won the title of Miss Bhopal in 2005.
After making her acting debut in a Doordarshan telefilm, Tripathi went on to present the show Akash Vani. She acted as Payal in Star One’s Yeh Dil Chahe More in 2005, and as Melanie in Viraasat in 2006. • An unknown person came close to her on the sets of “Ye Hai Mohabbatein” and started misbehaving with her by passing derogatory remarks, after which Karan and Ali beat him for his misbehavior.
