• Slapped her Co-Actor
In 2016, she slapped her co-actor Anas Rashid in front of the whole unit of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and had a heated argument with him. Deepika said that he once touched her inappropriately and because of him her husband had to quit his job as a director of the serial. Anas then filed her complaint at the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA). Later, CINTAA helped them in clearing their misunderstandings.
