Tyshun Raequan “Deebo” Samuel Sr. born January 15, 1996 is an American professional football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks and was drafted by the 49ers in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In 2021, Samuel was selected for the Pro Bowl and earned first-team All-Pro honors. Samuel redshirted during his freshman year in 2014. Samuel played in five games, starting three, but struggled with injuries. He sustained a hamstring injury in the season opener against North Carolina.
