Chakkere Puttamade Gowda Yogeshwara is an Indian politician and actor from Karnataka. He served as the Minister of Tourism, Environment, and Ecology in Karnataka from January 21, 2021, to July 26, 2021. Yogeshwara is a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council and has previously represented the Channapatna constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

In addition to his political career, he has appeared in lead roles in the Kannada film industry (Sandalwood), receiving acclaim for his performances in movies such as “Utthara Druvadind Dakshina Druvaku,” “Badhri,” “Kambalahalli,” “Preethi Nee Illade Na Hegirali,” and “Sainika.” His most recent role was in “Attahasa,” where he portrayed a cop in a film based on the life of the notorious bandit Veerappan. He was nominated as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) on July 22, 2020, representing the BJP. Yogeshwara previously held the position of Minister for Forest in the Karnataka government led by B.S. Yeddyurappa.
