Blake Ashton Snell born December 4, 1992 is an American professional baseball pitcher and currently a free agent. Throughout his career, he has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Tampa Bay Rays, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.

Snell was selected by the Rays in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut in 2016. In 2018, he won the Cy Young Award in the American League (AL) after being named an All-Star and leading the league in both wins and earned run average (ERA). He was traded to the Padres prior to the 2021 season and won his second Cy Young Award in 2023. Snell signed with the Giants in 2025 and threw a no-hitter on August 2 against the Cincinnati Reds.
