Alisson was born in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, and joined Internacional’s youth system in 2002 at the age of ten. After progressing through the youth ranks, he played regularly for the under-23 team and made his senior debut on 17 February 2013, starting in a 1–1 draw against Cruzeiro-RS in the Campeonato Gaúcho.
