Club Career
Born in Uberlândia, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazão joined the youth academy of Cruzeiro in March 2014 after starting his football journey with local club Uberlândia EC. On 11 December 2017, he extended his contract with Cruzeiro until 2021. Although he trained with Cruzeiro’s first team during the 2018 season, Brazão served as the third-choice goalkeeper, behind experienced keepers Fábio and Rafael. Brazão made his first move abroad, signing with Serie A side Parma for a reported fee of €2.65 million. He spent the rest of the 2018–19 season as a backup option, behind Luigi Sepe and Pierluigi Frattali.
Brazão signed a five-year contract with Inter Milan, with Andrea Adorante moving to Parma as part of the deal. Shortly after joining Inter, Brazão was loaned out to Spanish second-division side Albacete on 19 July 2019 for the 2019–20 season. He made his senior debut on 18 December, starting in a 1–0 Copa del Rey win away against Tudelano. He made his Segunda División debut on 29 February 2020, playing the full match in a 1–1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
