Since September 2024, he has hosted Wheel of Fortune, succeeding long-time host Pat Sajak. Seacrest previously co-hosted and served as executive producer of Live with Kelly and Ryan, and he is well-known for hosting a variety of media programs, including American Idol, American Top 40, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest. He began co-hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in 2005 and took over as the sole host following Dick Clark’s death in 2012. Seacrest received multiple Emmy Award nominations for American Idol from 2004 to 2013 and again in 2016. He won an Emmy in 2010 for producing Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution and received another nomination for the show in 2012.
