Andy Dalton Biography: Andrew Gregory Dalton (born October 29, 1987) is an American professional football quarterback currently playing for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL. Known as the “Red Rifle,” he played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he became the school’s all-time leader in quarterback wins and won the 2011 Rose Bowl. Dalton was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his nine seasons with the Bengals, Dalton led the team to five consecutive playoff appearances from 2011 to 2015 and earned three Pro Bowl selections. In his rookie season, he and wide receiver A.J. Green set records for completions and passing yards by a quarterback-receiver duo.
