Along with her twin sister Annie, Kerry was born in San Jose, California, on October 22, 1999, to Xiangyang Xu and Ruizhen Zhang. The two played women’s doubles badminton at the 2025 Summer Olympics in Paris, representing the United States. But they fell short against Tan Ning and Liu Sheng Shu of China in the opening round.
