In August 2018, Kriisa signed with Lithuanian powerhouse Žalgiris Kaunas. During his first season, he played for Žalgiris-2 in the Lithuanian second league (NKL) and also competed in the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament. Kriisa had an impressive performance in the tournament, earning MVP and All-Tournament Team honors at the Kaunas Qualifying Tournament, where he averaged 17.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.7 rebounds over seven games.
In October 2019, Kriisa made his EuroLeague debut for Žalgiris, scoring his first point from a free throw in a victory against LDLC ASVEL. Later that year, he was loaned to CBet Prienai, another Lithuanian team, to gain experience in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).
