MPPSC Food Safety Officer Salary Structure

Food Safety Officers selected by the MPPSC are offered a pay scale between Rs. 15,600 and Rs. 39,100. In addition to the base salary, officers receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as per government rules. With a basic pay of Rs. 21,000, FSOs also receive a Travel Allowance (TA) of Rs. 3,200. The DA, based on basic pay and TA, totals Rs. 25,000, and the HRA is approximately Rs. 6,000 for those posted in metro cities. This results in a gross monthly salary of around Rs. 60,000. A 10% contribution to the National Pension Scheme (NPS) is deducted from the gross salary, but the government also makes an equal contribution to the NPS account.
