Kishori Shahane Vij is an actress and classical folk dancer who appears on television and in Hindi and Marathi motion pictures. Her spouse is the Hindi film filmmaker Deepak Balraj Vij. Early life and Career
Kishori won the title of Miss Mithibai while attending Mithibai College, which is regarded as Mumbai’s cultural center. With Maherchi Sadi and Wajva Re Wajva, she made her film debut in Marathi cinema and quickly rose to fame. Her theater appearances in Amal Allana’s plays, including the Hindi play Aadhe Adhure and the Marathi play Moruchi Mavshi, helped her gain prominence as an actress. She appeared in popular Marathi movies such as Navra Maza Navsacha and Ek Daav Dhobi Pachhad. Her performance in Vikram Bhatt’s Hindi films Red: The Dark Side and Pyaar Mein Twist demonstrated her versatility.
Her ability was spotted by Hindi director Deepak Balraj Vij. Along with her, he directed two additional films, Bomb Blast, and Hafta Bandh.
