IB ACIO Grade 2: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is expected to announce the recruitment notification for the position of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) for the year 2024. Revised Payment Breakdown:

  • Base Salary: Rs. 44,900/-
  • Dearness Allowance (DA): Around Rs. 20,654/- (46% of base salary)
  • Special Security Allowance (SSA): Rs. 8,980/- (20% of base salary)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): Ranges from 9% to 27% of base salary based on city classification (X, Y, Z)
  • Transport Allowance: Rs. 3,600/- (High TPTA cities) or Rs. 1,800/- (Other locations)
  • Government’s NPS Contribution: Approximately Rs. 6,286/- (14% of base salary)

Application Fees for IB ACIO Grade 2

Male candidates belonging to UR, EWS, and OBC categories must pay the Examination Fee and Recruitment Processing Charges. Selection Process for IB ACIO Recruitment 2024

The selection process for ACIO-II/Exe generally consists of three stages:

Tier-I Examination:

The stage includes multiple-choice questions of the objective type on subjects like Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning/Logical Aptitude, and English. Candidates will face a penalty of ¼ mark deduction for incorrect answers, and they need to achieve the minimum cut-off marks to advance to the next stage.

Tier-II Examination:

The descriptive part of this stage includes an Essay (30 marks) and English Comprehension & Précis Writing (20 marks), adding up to 50 marks in total. To progress to the next stage, candidates must achieve at least 33% marks (17 out of 50) in Tier-II.

Tier-III/Interview:

Candidates who pass Tier-II will be invited for an interview, and the final selection will be determined by their performance in Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III/Interview, as well as Character & Antecedent verification and a medical examination.

IB ACIO Grade 2 Application Process

Candidates must submit their applications online via the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) official website after the notification is issued. Normally, the application process consists of two steps.

Step-I Registration: Candidates are required to sign up with personal and contact information. After completing the registration successfully, they will be sent a login ID and password to their registered email.

Step-II Completion of Application Form:

Upon logging in, candidates are required to provide comprehensive personal details, educational background, and upload photos and signatures according to specific guidelines. Additionally, they must make online payments for the application fee and recruitment processing fees.

Submission:

Upon completion and submission of the form, applicants will be issued an Application Sequence Number (ASN) on their registered mobile/email. It is advisable to retain a hard copy of the application form and payment receipt for future purposes.
