Overall, Gam Gam Ganesha is different from what one might anticipate from Anand Deverakonda following Baby. The plot and concept are not original, and the film lacks a coherent storyline to connect the characters. While there are enjoyable moments, they do not provide a fulfilling viewing experience.

Anand Deverakonda achieved an unexpected triumph with Baby, and now he presents the crime-comedy Gam Gam Ganesha directed by Uday Bommishetty. The film premiered in theaters today, and here is the review from a US Premiere screening.
What Is It About?
A small-time criminal named Ganesh (played by Anand Deverakonda) aims to amass wealth after being abandoned by his girlfriend. He undertakes a task to pilfer a valuable diamond from a jewelry shop in Hyderabad. The heist goes wrong, leading Ganesh to inadvertently conceal the diamond inside a Ganesha idol owned by a politician from Kurnool who is using the idol for another scheme. The story unfolds to reveal how Ganesh recovers his diamond and the fate of the money – all in the tale of “Gam Gam Ganesha.”
Performances
Anand Deverakonda may have aimed to choose a different subject compared to “Baby”, but his portrayal in “Gam Gam Ganesha” falls short of being exceptional. While the actress Pragathi Srivasthava is attractive, her role lacks depth, and Nayan Sarika seems like a cameo. Jabardasth Emmanuel has a significant part, but his lines fail to elicit laughter. Vennela Kishore’s talent is underutilized, and the antagonist Raj Arjun is uninteresting. Satyam Rajesh and others merely occupy the screen without making a notable impact.
Technicalities
Gam Gam Ganesha introduces an old yet established crime comedy storyline, but its execution falls short. It appears to be a collection of scenes and songs, with overpowering background music that doesn’t quite match up with the visuals.
Anand Devarakonda, typically associated with gentle roles, explored a new genre in this film. Making his debut in a full-length commercial movie, he aimed to reveal a different aspect of his acting skills. However, his portrayal appeared exaggerated to the audience, who were not accustomed to seeing him in such a character. Despite his genuine attempt to leave an impact, he needs to refine his dialogue delivery to better suit the style of commercial cinema. The movie featured Nayan Sarika and Pragathi Shrivatsav as the two beautiful actresses, but they had limited screen time, only appearing in a couple of songs and receiving less attention than the main female leads. Vennela Kishore shone despite having a brief appearance, while Sathyam Rajesh gave a decent performance. On the other hand, Raj Arjun failed to make a memorable mark. The supporting cast, which included Prince, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Krishna Chaitanya, among others, delivered satisfactory performances.
Gam Gam Ganesha Telugu Film: Technicians Review
The “Gam Gam Ganesha” story by Uday Bommisetty is a funny movie. The director aimed for laughs by putting Anand Devarakonda in a new role. But, the jokes and scenes weren’t very funny throughout the film. The humor felt old and not creative. Many scenes didn’t make sense and the story and script were weak, making the movie just okay. To be better, they needed to add new and exciting parts to the story.
Chaitan Bharadwaj’s music was average, slowing down the story with songs but improving it with background music. Aditya Javvadi’s camera work was good, showing the countryside well. However, Karthika Srinivas’ editing was slow at times, testing patience. The production quality was average, setting a basic stage for the story.
