Host Selection
The 2024 Copa América was initially planned to be held in Ecuador according to CONMEBOL’s host rotation policy. However, Ecuador was only nominated, not officially selected. In November 2022, Ecuador withdrew as the host. Both Peru and the United States showed interest in hosting the tournament. On January 27, 2023, it was declared that the United States would host the event, welcoming six CONCACAF guest teams through the 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League. This tournament serves as a lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Venues
All venues are currently in existence. The first game took place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, with the last game scheduled for the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
