Bihar Police ASI Steno Paper 1:
General Hindi, 100 multiple-choice questions, total of 100 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks: 30.
Duration: 90 minutes.
The marks obtained in Paper 1 are not considered for the final merit list.
Bihar Police ASI Steno Paper 2:
100 multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, totaling 200 marks.
Duration: 120 minutes.
Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
Candidates who pass the written exam must take the skill test for shorthand dictation and typing in Hindi and English.
